BABY GEAR 4 RENT
PEER 2 PEER PLATFORM
BabyGear4Rent.com initiative was born out of a personal need to rent baby equipment while traveling with my kids abroad. I designed a simple website to offer the service to families traveling to Israel, traveling light was the main message, saving parents a lot of weight, hassle and money.
By 2017, the business was at its best, with low Customer Acquisition Cost, customer orders were coming in with almost no marketing efforts, made me think of the next move. Accepted to Neilson Innovate Incubator, I turned the online shop service to a peer- to -peer sharing economy platform, where parents rented from other parents baby equipment.
A few months after the launch of the platform, my father passed away and I decided to shut down the business. To this day, tourists visiting Israel contact me to rent gear.
