PLACEMAKING PROJECTS
Our surroundings have a direct effect on our sate of mind, well-being and even efficiency. Re-inventing our public spaces is what Placemaking is all about.
As a designer and artist, I took part in several placemaking projects. In Ashdod I worked with the elderly and young kids to create simple, yet meaningful elements for a community event, connecting neighborhoods and empowering the people to take ownership and re-imagine their home environments. In Herzliya, the need was for a lean and quick makeover of the space. With a minimal budget and with a team of kids and dedicated employees from a local business, we transformed the community center into a more lively, optimistic and interactive social space in only 5 hours.
